An archaeologist and heritage manager, he has been elected twice as President of the World Heritage Committee, where he also served as Rapporteur for several terms. Professor Beschaouch was a member of the World Heritage Committee from 1979 to 1993. He first joined UNESCO at its office in Jakarta, Indonesia as an expert partner for Culture at the beginning of 1994, and then assumed the role of Programme Specialist for Culture in Jakarta, Amman. Since 2007, he has served as Programme Specialist for Culture in Phnom Penh.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<table style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: justify; vertical-align: top; padding-right: 40px; padding-left: 20px; line-height: 17px; width: 267px;\">\n<div style=\"width: 38%; float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/icc-angkor.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/kerya.jpg\" alt=\"Koala\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"width: 62%; float: right;\"><strong>CHAU SUN K\u00e9rya<\/strong><br \/>\ncompleted a Master\u2019s degree in Mediation and Territorial Culture and Tourism Engineering. She was awarded in 2011 the Medal of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters. She has represented the APSARA National Authority in the ICC-Angkor Standing Secretariat since 2005.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: justify; vertical-align: top; padding-right: 40px; line-height: 17px; width: 267px;\">\n<div style=\"width: 38%; float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"height: 120px; width: 90px;\" src=\"https:\/\/icc-angkor.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/prom_chak.jpg\" alt=\"Koala\" \/><\/div>\n<div style=\"width: 62%; float: right;\"><strong>PROM Chak<\/strong><br \/>\nstudied geology before starting his professional career at the Ministry of Industry of Cambodia while also being involved with a local organization specializing in performing arts.
