• It is recommended that the reason of the destruction of three towers of stone blocks be clarified before the starting of the intervention. The diagnosis of laterites and overall decay should be done more carefully and accurately with particular attention to the mechanical analysis of the inner part of the basement;
• Drawings are necessary in order to explain the necessity of each phase of the restoration work on the basis of deeper understanding of the mechanism of degradation;
• Closely relating above two points, it is recommended that the team be strengthened by experts in the field of soil and structural engineering;
• It is recommended that Nara National Research Institute should make a more detailed working plan towards the completion of the project at the end of the fifth year when the actual budget will close.
