Visitor facilities at Angkor Wat:

Welcomes the initiative to widen the existing paths in order to make them accessible to disabled people and to more effectively manage the flow of tourists;

Encourages consultation with the preventive archaeology team prior to the commencement of these works;

Recommends also the use of compacted soil as the preferred material;

In addition, recommends the careful study of visitor flows within the enclosures of the Angkor Wat temple before deciding on the installation of resting facilities such as benches;
