12. APSARA “Stone Conservation” workshop, June 16, 2017:
The group of experts expresses its satisfaction with the quality of training made available to junior Cambodian conservators and restorers, from both the theory angle as well as right on APSARA National Authority work sites and the various restoration work sites conducted by experienced international teams.
The ad hoc group of experts recommends that the initiative led by APSARA National Authority be continued, that all the teams working at Angkor be involved, with a view of studying the various aspects relating to both the doctrine and practice of material conservation, more particularly stone, wood and metal.
