14. Water pipe through the Angkor Wat stair embankment:

Recalling the previous recommendation, which called for a structure to be built to protect the water pipe. As the pipe is an extension of the existing pipe, which runs under the current road, the section added must be strong enough to bear the weight of the laterite blocks and soil. According to the project, strength will be achieved by the addition of cement mortar, which the ad hoc experts deem sufficient.

Recommends to connect the pipe extension and to continue the restoration of the embankment. The outlet of the pipe on the embankment side should perfectly fit in with the steps of the embankment.
