6. Radar imaging

After Prof. FLETCHER’s presentation of his work to the ICC, he requested assistance in securing use of a glider provided by American businessman Donald KUNI. This would provide an opportunity for new discoveries in 2002-2004 during the dry season this time; focus would initially be North of Preah Khan and moving to the South later on. The strength of this small glider is its ability to land on all terrains, even difficult ones.

For his part, Mr. BESCHAOUCH stresses the need to involve more young Cambodians in this type of projects, as this “territorial archaeology” methodology will support development in its fullest sense –political, economic and social- in connection with these techiques.
