SPECIFIC RECOMMENDATIONS

For 2008, these technical files concern:

1. Angkor Wat Churning of the Sea of Milk Gallery

In charge: World Monuments Fund
– Proposals to ensure waterproofing of the upper parts of the gallery;
– Choice of materials to achieve localized reverse slopes in relation to the vault structures;
– Proper insertion of lead sheeting for waterproofing;
– A study of the impact of operations on the structural stability of the gallery and on its internal presentation.
