ARCHAEOLOGICAL research is on the increase at Angkor and is producing scientifically significant results, to everyone’s satisfaction.
The ICC recommends that the teams get in touch with each other to convey new chronological information, even while publication of such by each team is pending. It is especially recommended that an Angkor database be built up in close cooperation with the APSARA National Authority. If needed, ICCROM, led by Professor Mounir BOUCHENAKI, is in a position to provide support for this undertaking that will prove very valuable for research at Angkor and in Cambodia, as well as at the international level.
