The roundabout to the south of Angkor Wat:

Welcomes the restructuring of the current three-way junction to the south of the Angkor Wat temple in order to create smooth and safe traffic flow;

Recommends that a small and simple roundabout (without decorations, sculptural objects, or signboards) should be set up instead of the present junction in order to maintain the view of the South Gate and the silhouette of the central towers of Angkor Wat;

Recommends that any environmental impact to the area should be kept to a minimum in particular in regards to protecting the beautiful trees (such as the Dipterocarpus alatus species) that are located near the intersection;

Recommends the submission of drawings of the new roundabout for review and comment by relevant expert groups prior to the commencement of construction activities;
