21. BAYON TEMPLE:
The ad hoc groups of experts recommend:
a) to complete the full body of recommendations number 32.5 put forward at the ICC 32nd Technical Session of June 2019;
b) to look into putting in a temporary ground covering on the 3rd terrace, of wood, if possible, to prevent certain markings carved on the floor from being completely erased by the frequent treading of visitors;
c) to undertake an operation to identify structural deformations and damage that could be a danger for visitors and implement all appropriate protective measures;
d) to request to quickly come up with one or more alternative visitor itineraries in the Bayon and have them conveyed to the general public by the APSARA National Authority teams.
